Gift Yourself Lofty Thoughts...Serendipity Stamps March 1 Blog Hop

Hello,

Welcome to the first Serendipity Stamps March Blog Hop. March...already...and the birthday month of two loves of my life, Ms. Niece and Mr. Nephew! She's turning 7; he's turning 5! Growing up toooo fast. I have decided it they're going to continue to with this 'getting older' business, I'm not playing along! Staying where I'm at...they can catch up *grin*

Today, the design team will be showing you some fabulous products and offering you a chance to win some goodies from Serendipity Stamps. All you need to do is hop along and leave comments, which puts you in running for a $20 gift certificate.  Here's the hop list....

Carol Mayne - you are here

A bit of a whimsical flavour to my card, which was easily achieved with a combination of the Large Solid Stamp Set and the mini version, the Small Solid Stamp Set. All kinds of possibilities with these images; in fact, I decided to try them with stamped-and-spritzed distress inks, to create a water-colour look. And we know how infrequently you see water-colour in this spot! But...it kinda sorta worked! The Gift Yourself Lofty Thoughts sentiment, from the Uplifting Thoughts set, seemed a good fit....

NOTE: Honoured and thrilled to be one of the CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge #210 Favourites! THANK YOU!

Do you see my topsy-turvy butterflies? Love them! Looking forward to giving the larger image an ink-and-a-spritz...

Please head over to Serendipity Stamps Blog for more hop details and for some sale and new product news.  Want a hint? (Spoiler alert...).

The Marble Waves Background is the featured 50% off Stamp of the Month. I can vouch for how amazing it is....
New products, new products!  Three new dies sure to have you swirling and twirling with happiness all year long *grin*  Check them out here:

Fun. Vibrant. Awesome. The colors ROCK!!! And so does your 'spritz' technique!

The images and the bright colors remind me of Mexico...and warm, sunny beaches and free fancy-schmancy drinks!!!

Wonder if the topsy-turvy butterfly had a headache yet? :)
